NFF 2023 finished in June but you can view the events we did run and pop up events throughout the year here. While we’re mainly planning at the moment, there’s still lots of ways to get involved – if you are a young person interested in learning about Film or Cinema 10-18yrs or an adult interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.

Dates for your diary: Northants Creative Industries Expo 2023 24th and 25th November. NFF 2024 9th – 17th March.

The Northants Film & Television Expo will be making a comeback in November 2023 with an expanded Creative Industry remit. The Expo is a free event we run that is hosted by the University of Northampton showcasing careers and opportunities in the Creative Industries locally and nationally. The inaugural 2022 event featured guest speakers Blair Barnette, Chair of the British Guild of Production Designers, Film Festival Doctor Dr Rebekah Louisa Smith, MAMA Youth and Northampton-born Disney’s Liza Rhea zooming in from Canada.

Exhibitors included ScreenSkills, the National Film and Television School, Filming in England, Kinetics Space Studios, Artem, the Association of Motion Picture Sound, Shoot Blue, Screen Northants, the Film and Television Charity, CARRIER-media, BECTU and the University of Northampton.

There was also a Speak to Industry ‘people library’ where people could ‘book out’ a film professional including Vertigo Films’ Head of Legal and Business Affairs Angela Amanchukwu, VFX Supervisor Ian Ward, local Directors Marcus Anthony Thomas. Laurence Maybury and James Millar, Location Manager Steven Price Brown and Sara Putt Associates.
